Alana Walks

Alana has been walking little steps here and there for a couple of weeks now.  Last night, she decided that she wanted to walk everywhere!  She kept walking back and forth between me and jeff and other furniture in the house.  She was even able to get up on her own a couple of times.  It was so funny when she was not able to get up, she got frustrated and started crying out of frustration.  But when we tried to help her up, she pushed us away and got even more frustrated!  She is starting to show her personality more and her independence!

 

Alana 11 Months

Alana can now stand on her own!  Sometimes she is brave enough to take a few steps too.  Especially if she sees something she wants, she tries to walk towards the object.  She has a lot of fun doing it, and is really proud of herself when she takes a few steps.  She pounds on her chest like Tarzan and smiles wide.

We have been playing a game by asking her “Where’s Alana?”  and she points to herself.  It has gotten to the point that whenever she hears her name, she points to herself!  It is amazingly cute.  Alana continues to be her same joyful self, smiling at everyone who cares to look her way.

I can’t believe it is only going to be 4 more weeks until she turns 1!
